The most defining feature of Union Hill is the street system which follows the hilly terrain. Streets intersect at angles and blocks can slope dramatically from one end to the other. Its houses are smaller, ranging from cottages to row houses noted for their porches and wooden fences. It makes for a quaint and quirky area much loved by its residents. Its cornerstone is Jefferson Park with great city views.
