Meet Coleen

Are you ready to explore Richmond’s beautiful and diverse neighborhoods? Coleen is a strategic thinker and a problem-solver who works with clients on every step of the home-buying and selling process. She works all over central Virginia, but her joy is finding and selling properties in Richmond’s historic neighborhoods.

Coleen has lived and worked in the historic areas of Richmond for over 30 years, and she believes that where you live has an immeasurable impact on your quality of life. One of her favorite things to do is to share the unprecedented number and unique character of neighborhoods to call home in Richmond. Coleen started her career in marketing with one of Richmond’s beloved regional companies, Ukrop’s, where she learned that building life-long relationships with clients is the most important thing a business can do. After ‘retiring’, Coleen and her husband raised their twin boys in the Fan while completing five house renovations on historic homes. She has extensive experience with the city’s policies for historic neighborhoods and tax credit programs.

She became a Real Estate Agent to combine her love of Richmond neighborhoods with a passion for helping people find their “what’s next”. Coleen graduated from the University of Virginia where she studied archaeology and architectural history. She then graduated from the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Business with a master's in marketing. She has been involved in historic preservation since her 20s sensing the special architectural fabric and places in this historic and welcoming city. She is involved in several non-profits focusing on historic preservation, as well as The Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, the Woman’s Club of Richmond, and The Fan Townhouse and Garden Club, and she serves on the city’s Commission of Architectural Review.

Her pastimes include traveling with friends and family (her most recent trips were to Vietnam and New Orleans), traditional feng shui, paddle boarding, and yoga. As a reformed vegetarian, she loves Richmond’s food revolution, so let her introduce you to some great restaurants along the way!
